NEA celebrates 20 years of Read Across America

Voice: November 2017

On March 2, NEA will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Read Across America. To commemorate the milestone, NEA has created a variety of resources to celebrate reading throughout the year, centering around the theme, “Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers.”

Educators can request a literacy resource calendar and poster filled with recommended books reflecting the growing diversity and history of our global society, complete with engagement activities to get kids reading, writing, thinking, and talking. Members can also enter to win books for their school or receive recommended titles at reduced rates.
