Micro-credentials are a competency-based recognition issued for professional learning experiences. They provide a way for educators to develop skills and acquire knowledge to improve classroom practice and support student success.
In partnership with the National Education Association (NEA), PSEA offers over 100 FREE micro-credentials to PSEA members for Act 48 hours.
PSEA has also teamed up with PennWest Edinboro to offer you college credit for your hard work. Learn more on earning college credits with your Micro-credentials.

To earn Act 48 hours, simply acquire and read the specified book, complete and submit the required accompanying reflection document to share with colleagues, and then discuss potential strategies for using the book in your craft and practice during the online discussion meeting with your PSEA colleagues.
