School Board Election Training
As we get ready to close out 2024, reminding you that we have very important school board races in 2025.
To help you prepare, we have two non-partisan school board trainings in January – one for locals and one for candidates. The first is for locals who want to recommend and support school board candidates. The second is a joint comprehensive three-day training for prospective candidates and their campaigns. (This is not a training for locals.) Both trainings will be at PSEA Southern Region Office, 4750 Delbrook Road, Mechanicsburg.

Training for Locals. Participants will delve into ways their local can recruit and support school board candidates, as well as how to use the PSEA-PACE process to recommend candidates. This is a Saturday training from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food will be provided.
January 24-26, 2025
Direct training for prospective candidates and their campaign team. (This is not a training for locals.) This three-day deep dive into tackling a campaign is a non-partisan training co-hosted by PSEA, LEAD PA, Run for Something, Red, Wine & Blue and Promote the Vote PA. Food will be provided. Please share this with anyone considering a run for school board.
