PSEA is looking to fill TWO summer intern positions working mostly in-person in our Harrisburg office. We are interested in rising seniors and graduate students who have a career interest in working for PSEA in the future as an Associate UniServ Representative (i.e. field representative) and then, if successful, as a UniServ Representative.
Interns will work with staff in Field Operations, the Research Division, the Communications Division and the Government Relations Division.

PSEA is hiring THREE full-time, limited term labor representative positions in Pittsburgh, Mechanicsburg and Wilkes-Barre.
The Associate UniServ Representative ("AUR") positions are temporary positions existing for training and developmental purposes. The AUR will be exposed to intensive training and job shadowing opportunities with PSEA staff. PSEA is looking for candidates willing to make an initial committment of one or two years.
These positions will provide assistance to labor relations staff who represent members and local associations, providing comprehensive support in bargaining and defending the rights of members.
Applicants should have an interest in labor and education, and possess strong research, inter-personal, problem-solving and writing skills.

PSEA plans to hire one college student as Summer Supplemental Help to work in our downtown Harrisburg, PA office. This position will start in late May or early June 2025 working approximately 35 hours per week.
This individual will be performing a variety of jobs at PSEA. In general, the summer help will be providing clerical support (data entry and scanning) and assistance on special projects. Most of the projects will just be entirely scanning, using PDF Docs, numerous documents and/or binders. Interviews will be held, and the selection will be based on abilities associated with this year's needs.
All candidates will need to be quite familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. A strong attention to detail is required. This position will have a salary of $18.00 per hour. PSEA will provide parking for the successful candidate.

PSEA is seeking a highly motivated, organized Convention Administrative Assistant, in Harrisburg.
This in-person position will be responsible for coordinating and administering the essential logistics of PSEA-sponsored and affiliated meetings, conventions, and conferences. This includes coordinating all project phases. Responsibilities include conference registration, housing and meeting accommodation, on-site registration (this includes occasional overnight travel), document/packet preparation. Responsibilities would also include post-conference administration of issues that deal with bill paying, and other activities needed to bring closure to the event.
We are seeking candidates who possess operational experience in the Hotel or Restaurant industry, or a related field. Prior experience in convention/ conference or hotel/hospitality service operations experience is preferred. The position also requires strong written and verbal skills and technology skills.
