PSEA Belong: Meet Heather Williams

Meet Heather Williams, a new member of Allentown Education Association: After teaching for seven years in Philadelphia schools, Heather began a new career as a middle school special education teacher in Allentown School District, and joined the Association right away.

Why did you decide to join PSEA? As a PSEA member, you are part of a network of professionals who have the same values you do and help you work toward these goals collectively. By yourself, you can feel like an island. The voices of 181,000 people are powerful.

Heather attended this year’s PSEA Summer Leadership Conference – a great opportunity for new members to learn more from colleagues from across the state. In this Facebook Live video, Heather shares her experience at this year’s conference.
