Take action now on these critical issues

Supporting a COLA for pre-Act 9 retirees
Securing a cost of living adjustment for educators and support professionals who retired before 2001 is a top priority for PSEA, and we need your help to get this done.

Contact your state senator today and tell them that educators and support staff who retired before 2001 need a COLA now. And tell them to support any legislation supporting a COLA to get it to the governor's desk. 

Fixing our unconstitutional public school funding system
In a landmark ruling last year, PA's Commonwealth Court decided that our state's public school funding system is so broken that it's unconstitutional. And the court directed the governor and lawmakers to fix it.

Discussions about the commonwealth's FY 2024-25 state budget will begin when Gov. Josh Shapiro unveils his proposed budget on Feb. 6. Before that happens, we need to make sure that the governor and lawmakers know that fixing our public school funding system needs to be their top priority.

Contact your legislators and Gov. Shapiro today and tell them that fixing our unconstitutional public school funding system must be their top priority.
