2025 state and national Civics Bee information session Oct. 22Middle school students in grades 6-8 have an opportunity to take part in the 2025 state and national Civics Bee by submitting an essay online to participating local Chambers of Commerce. The essays should be 500 words outlining an original idea, using their civics education, for how they would better their communities. The essays are then reviewed by a panel of judges, and 20 finalists are ultimately selected to participate in a live Civics Bee competition hosted by the participating local Chambers of Commerce. The top three finalists from each regional Civics Bee advance to the Pennsylvania State Finals. Students can submit their essay to any of the regional chambers. The image below shows the regional chambers that are currently participating. Civics Bee Key Resources
