Get ready for a fun-filled night where Gettysburg Summer Leadership Conference attendees can “wager” on horse races, win prizes, and raise money for pro-public education candidates through PSEA-PACE.
We’re trying something new this year that we think you’ll love. On Wed., July 24, during our Night at the Races event, members will have a chance to “wager” on real, previously recorded horse races that have been repurposed with new member-sponsored race names and member-selected horse names. This fun event will include the chance to win giveaway baskets and to bid on cool auction items in between races.
What: Night at the Races PACE fundraiser event
When: Wed., July 24, from 6:30-9 p.m.
Where: CUB Ballroom at Gettysburg College
Donate to PSEA-PACE before July 12 and you can sponsor a race, a horse, or both, and give them any name you want for the official race program!
- To sponsor a race, donate $50 as an EA member ($25 for ESP, Retired, Student). If you sponsor a race, you will receive 25 tickets to enter to win giveaway baskets and $40 in “betting money.”
- To sponsor a horse, donate $20 as an EA member ($10 for ESP, Retired, Student). If you sponsor a race, you will receive 5 tickets to enter to win giveaway baskets and $8 in “betting money.” You also claim naming rights for your horse!
