Please join us for the annual Student PSEA State Conference and Convention on March 21-23, 2024 at Eden Resorts & Suites in Lancaster. You will have opportunities for professional development, to give back to the community, and to network with fellow aspiring educators across Pennsylvania.
Keynote speaker: Elizabeth Raff, 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year
Elizabeth Raff is a passionate and enthusiastic educator who sparks excitement and creativity in classrooms. She propels students and teachers to be lifelong learners by using unique classroom engagement strategies. Elizabeth serves as the Elementary Learning Facilitator in the Penn Manor School District, supporting teachers across seven elementary schools to improve instruction and student achievement. Before her current role, she spent over a decade in the classroom as a 4th and 6th grade elementary school teacher.
In her role as 2022 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year, she traveled Pennsylvania and the nation, meeting and collaborating with education stakeholders, advocating for the profession by working with legislators, supporting pre-service teachers, and learning from her national state teacher of the year cohort.

Each attendee is responsible for arranging their own hotel accommodations by Feb. 20 to get the discounted PSEA rate of $169.95 per night. Do not delay booking a room; all unreserved rooms will be released to the public for sale after this date.
All submissions are due by March 18 to students@psea.org.
The ILP is a competition where applicants design and create an interactive learning project for a targeted group of students. Projects should be student-centered and demonstrate a need for students to engage in hands-on learning in a specific content area(s).
Entry forms must be submitted before March 15 to be considered eligible for competition. All applicants submitting an entry form by this date will guarantee a reserved table to set up their ILP. Applicants are responsible for setting up completed projects before the first breakout session on March 22. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in each ILP category.
Conference attendees will help beautify Hamilton Elementary School in the Schol District of Lancaster to make a difference in the lives of those who attend and work at the school and in the community.
Outreach to Teach is an engaging and exciting experience for every aspiring educator. Every attendee will be encouraged to join on Friday, March 22, and wear their conference T-shirt to the event. Dinner will be provided at the school.

Attendees will vote on statewide and region positions for: President, President-elect, Vice President, Secretary , PSEA-PACE Chair. For more information on positions, click here.
